IT Squad

We help nonprofits spend less time fighting technology and more time on the work that matters, with practical IT support, cybersecurity and smarter ways of working.

IT Squad helps nonprofits get more from technology, whether you simply need IT support when something goes wrong, want to improve your cybersecurity, or want to find better ways of working.

We can provide casual IT support when you need it or look after your technology on an ongoing basis. We also help organisations step back and look at the bigger picture: where technology is creating unnecessary work, where your existing tools could be used better, and where improvements, automation or AI could save time and make work easier.

We start by understanding what you’re trying to achieve, then help shape and recommend practical solutions that fit your organisation, your people and your budget.

The goal is simple: spend less time fighting technology and more time on the work that matters.

We’re proud to partner with a range of businesses and non-profits—from sole traders and small community organisations to busy offices, consultancy firms, and charitable trusts operating in different time zones. Some of our clients include churches, charities, medical practices, beauty clinics, Barristers, accountants, schools, private investigators, and compliance companies. We will work closely with your management, decision-makers, and teams to deliver solutions tailored to your needs.

IT Squad is a Tauranga-based IT services business led by founder Regan Scarfe. We’ve been helping local businesses and organisations with technology since 2019.

We’re a small team who believe good technology isn’t just about keeping computers running. It should make work easier, protect what’s important and give people more time to focus on what they do best.

We take a practical, down-to-earth approach. We’ll explain things in plain language, help you work out what actually matters, and recommend solutions that make sense for your organisation rather than technology for technology’s sake.

We support organisations across Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty, and we’re particularly pleased to support the people doing good work in our local community.

For-Purpose organisation special offer:

We want good technology to be accessible to organisations doing good work in our community, so we offer several ways to help:

Discounted IT support
Get casual IT support when you need it at a special nonprofit rate. There’s no requirement to sign up for an ongoing managed IT service.

Free technology & productivity conversation
Book a free 30-minute conversation with us about what’s getting in the way, where technology could make work easier, or how tools such as automation and AI might help. There’s no obligation and no need to have the answers before we talk.

Discounted cybersecurity assessment
Get a practical review of the cybersecurity basics, including computers and updates, antivirus and firewall protection, backups, account security, MFA and email security.

Ongoing support with donated IT support
Nonprofits that choose our Hassle-Free IT managed services receive donated IT support time each month, in addition to their normal service. This time can be put towards support or improvements that help your organisation work better.

How to redeem:

Get in touch and mention the Socialink Business Heroes Directory. You can book a free introductory conversation at itsquad.nz/book, email hello@itsquad.nz, or phone Regan on 07 579 6226.

Tell us a little about your organisation and what you’d like help with. Whether it’s a one-off IT problem or a bigger technology challenge, we’re happy to have a conversation and work out how we can help.
