We offer free mailbox delivery of a fortnightly community newspaper featuring for-Purpose organisations within our circulation area.
Lizard News was first published in June 2017 and has grown from 4,200 copies monthly to 12,200 copies fortnightly. It is run by Matthew and Liz Farrell. Matthew’s background is staff work with Sky News TV in London, Radio New Zealand in Tauranga and Wellington, Radio Live and Radio Pacific in Auckland, Fairfax Media Newspapers in the Waikato, and freelance work for the BBC and CNN. Liz has been Editor of the LEGO Magazine in London, and also works for Western Bay District Council, having previously worked in grant funding for Plunket buildings and operations in Te Puke, Tauranga, and Whakatāne.
For-Purpose organisation special offer
For-Purpose organisations within our circulation area are welcome to contribute occasional stories and photos as a free opportunity for self-promotion. We can provide pricing quotes to assist organisations in applying for grant funding for advertising budget, to promote and market their activities to the general public. We offer discounted advertising to for-Purpose organisations, and a free design service for these advertisers.
